Integrating with Demandforce

screen2There’s a lot more to having a great website than making it look nice. It needs to be functional as well, and provide your clients with real tools to enhance their experience with your veterinary hospital. One of the ways we accomplish this is by integrating third party platforms, such as Demandforce.

Integrating with Demandforce allows us to provide our clients with professional, easy to use Appointment Request forms that allows people to connect with your front desk via their computers. The Easy Scheduler Widget is simple and elegantly designed, and connects clients to your front desk, even after hours.

For clients that are busy during the day or are not able to call in, this is a tool that saves them time and effort. And best of all, it lightens the burden on your front desk employees so they have more time to fulfill all their responsibilities.

The Appointment Request form sends directly to your hospital’s email account with all of the client and pet’s vital information. And don’t worry, no appointments are set until you confirm them with the client, so there is no chance of overbooking or other scheduling problems.

mobile2This feature goes a step further, offering mobile device compatibility as well. Clients can go to your website from their mobile device, and within a few taps of the finger they can send an appointment request. This gives your clients access to your clinic no matter where they are.

Another way to provide clients with useful web resources is through integrating with Demandforce’s online review software. Demandforce does the work of collecting reviews from your clients and then pushes them directly to your website. They have strict takedown policies, assuring that only the reviews you want to be seen are displayed.

Whenever a review is posted, it automatically gets posted on your website AND your mobile site, once the review has been certified by Demandforce. This is a simple and easy way to not only collect reviews, but share them with potential new clients may be looking for veterinary care. Don’t Get Beat Up By Bad Reviews

clientsEvery veterinary hospital has experienced it at some point. Inevitably, you have to deal with an angry client who wants to shout about how they perceive they’ve been wronged — often without presenting the whole story.

The main weapon of choice for these clients: the bad review.

Lingering negative reviews hurt. And the longer you wait to respond to them, the greater the chance your reputation is damaged. Unfortunately this happens every day to clinics all over the country.

This Is How We Help
Doctor Multimedia takes your online reputation seriously. That starts with our review tracking software, which provides email notifications for new reviews across all the major websites (plus much, much more).

powerfullThe first step is to promptly respond to the negative review in an effort to reconcile the situation while presenting your side of the story to other readers. This is the best way to prevent that client from leaving more negative reviews on other websites. All of that can be done through our review tracking software dashboard, no matter what site the review is on.

But that’s not nearly enough. Your clinic does incredible work for animals and people every day, most of which isn’t posted on review sites. But people should be able to see that too, shouldn’t they? In reality, bad experiences with clients are far outnumbered by the good ones. Yet bad reviews seem to account for a disproportionately high percentage of the actual reviews left. It’s a frustrating situation.

The problem is that people aren’t inclined to leave reviews when they get good service. They go home happy and return as satisfied clients, but for many people the thought of leaving a review doesn’t even occur.

That’s not good enough for us, we want to access that untapped potential. There are so many satisfied clients who would gladly leave you a glowing review — all you have to do is ask!

emailStart by handing out our instructions on how to leave reviews at your clinic and send them home with people. You’d be surprised how many good reviews come in. Better yet, send out an email newsletter, making it even simpler for clients to complete the review process while already on their computer.

You can also incentivize clients to leave reviews with small promotional offers. A $5 credit or nail trim for leaving a review is a great way to show your appreciation and motivate clients to leave you reviews. Please note that we never ask clients specifically for positive reviews, instead we simply ask for their feedback.

Like we said before, Doctor Multimedia is serious about your reputation. Chances are your hospital could use a boost with online reviews, so contact us to discuss a plan of action for your hospital.

Engage Clients Visually

DVM-SPAYNEUTER-750x8711-265x300People are more engaged when they are presented with information in a visual way, and your clients are no different. As a veterinary hospital, there are a lot of different topics you want to educate clients on — but sometimes this information could come across as uninteresting in a written format. It can benefit your veterinary website to use infographics as visual content.

So how can you present your clients with interesting visual information? Most veterinary professionals aren’t proficient with graphic design software, and even if someone in your clinic does have those skills, they are likely too busy with their job duties to spend a sufficient amount of time on the design process.
DVMThanksgiving-750x808-11-255x300One of the best ways to communicate information vital to pet owners is through illustrated infographics. These images take typically dry information and medical jargon and translate them into a simple, visual format like the examples you see on this page.

You can see all the different ways you could provide better client education if you had a little more graphic design power at your disposal. You could always spend the hours of time required to learn those skills, and them try to carve out even more time for the actual designing. Of course, you could always have Doctor Multimedia handle that for your clinic. Contact us today to find out more about how we can enhance your clinic with visual content.

How to Get Likes on Facebook

If you can’t get people to Like your Facebook page, then your social media presence is falling short of where it needs to be. But how do you get those Likes? It takes a dedicated effort, you can’t sit back and expect those numbers to keep going up significantly.

fb_icon_325x325-300x300The campaign to get more Likes should be taking place daily. Use targeted advertising to reach pet owners in the zip codes that your hospital serves, and make sure your design is appealing and offers a call to action. If you have no clue how to do that, you need someone on your team that does.

The content you post is a huge part of attracting page Likes. Post regularly, but make sure it’s not too often that followers get annoyed, and not too infrequently that people forget about you. Post content that encourages people to share with their friends, allowing your hospital to get exposure with the members of your community who haven’t Liked your page yet.

Post content that followers can’t get anywhere else — pictures of your hospital, staff, patients, etc. And when you post educational or fact based content, make sure it’s not too dry for the average reader. A few medical terms can turn off a Facebook user looking for something lighter. When it comes to client education, visual content is the most engaging. Do you have a graphic designer that can create custom flyers and other images? If you don’t, your Facebook page is missing a key component.

like-like-like-buuteeq-300x240Do you work closely with any animal shelters, groomers, trainers, or pet stores? Look up all the relevant businesses that might share clients or be able to send you new ones and reach out to them. You’d be surprised how a simple post on their page (or a little mutual promotion) can increase everyone’s Likes!

Above all, you want to engage your audience in a real way. Respond to people when they post on your page, like their posts, and do all the things that normal human beings do on Facebook. You need someone managing your page and doing all of those little things, every single day, even after hours. It’s not an easy job, and no one person at your clinic can do it all by themselves.

Want to get your Likes up? Doctor Multimedia can do all of the above and a whole lot more. We GUARANTEE significant increases in your page’s Likes when you partner with Doctor Multimedia. Contact us today to learn more.

Connect with Clients Through Email

emailIt’s important to connect with your current client base, and to engage them with your veterinary hospital when they are outside of the clinic. But what is the best way to do that?

Email is a tried and true way to communicate necessary information with your clients, and it gives them time to interact with it at their own leisure. Although, sending out professional, effective emails is easier said than done!

icon-emailDo you have an email database of your clients? Do you use Constant Contact to manage and craft your professional emails? Someone in your veterinary hospital should be on top of those things, but of course, veterinary professionals are busy people with little extra time outside of their duties.

Doctor Multimedia can set your clinic up with powerful email messages that communicate with your clients and keeps them coming to your veterinary website and through your doors. Call us today at (800) 679-3309 to see how we can help your clinic.

Attract New Clients, Reward Current Ones

new-client2-300x213Every veterinary hospital has to address the issue of gaining new clients in order to maintain a sustainable practice. In order to run a healthy clinic, you need a constant stream of new clientele even if you have a strong base already. Having a good veterinary website is a good start, but there’s more you can do.

But how do you attract those new clients? Luckily the era of digital marketing affords veterinary hospitals an inexpensive and effective way of doing so. Leverage your social media pages by offering new client offers, anything from a free exam for new clients to a discount on services or products for them. That alone could be the edge you need in attracting that client to your animal clinic over a competitor.

But don’t just use your social media to focus on bringing in new clients, use it to enhance your relationship with your current clients as well! You could add a line to your new client special that offers an incentive to current clients who refer new ones to you. That way you are increasing the reach of your new client offer while rewarding your loyal clients for bringing them to you!

referall-card-300x206That’s just one simple way you can leverage your social media page to help you run a better veterinary hospital. Of course, the constant process of conceiving and executing those ideas can be a time consuming effort for any animal health professional, taking time away from what you are really there to do — help animals. If you want to learn more about how Doctor Multimedia can help your clinic, contact us today at (800) 679-3309.

Veterinarians, Dont Give Up on Online Reviews

dashboardToo many veterinarians make the mistake of giving up on online reviews. They either get a few bad reviews they can’t shake, can’t manage all the accounts and review sites, or simply don’t have the time for it. If your veterinary hospital isn’t managing online reviews, you are probably losing business because of it.

Don’t let that happen to you. Take a proactive approach to online reviews by staying up to date with all the reviews on all the major review sites. It can be a little bit overwhelming at first, but it’s a necessary part of advertising today and it yields real results. Read your reviews and respond quickly to them — a quick response can often turn a customer’s negative review positive, or at least help alleviate the issue they had so they don’t leave more bad reviews on other sites. And thank your customers for leaving positive reviews about their experiences, they may be more inclined to do so again in the future!

A lot of times a client will have a negative experience with your clinic and feel like the online review is their only resort for satisfaction. If you never respond to these reviews, even one bad review can shape the way prospective clients look at your hospital.

chartBut there’s more you can do. Encourage satisfied clients to leave reviews for you and give them simple step by step guides on how to do so. Most people only feel compelled to leave a review when they have a negative experience, but you could have a lot of happy clients that are willing to leave you a positive review — you just have to ask them!

Pet owners take online reviews seriously when looking for a veterinarian to provide health care for their pet. Even a great veterinary hospital can get a bad review now and then, and they can be damaging if not dealt with properly. If you need help managing your veterinary clinic’s online reviews, please don’t hesitate to contact Doctor Multimedia today for a free consultation.
